Scurry! The Truth About Spiders Cover Reveal

I have been so eager to share the cover with you for my newest book Scurry! The Truth About Spiders. Like the dog and owl books in The Truth About series, this is a photo and art-illustrated informational book (Keep reading for a peek inside.)

In my opinion, the cover of Scurry invites readers to celebrate curiosity and leave all fears behind. I love it.
This is a question-and-answer book. Each page spread answers some of  kids' most common questions about spiders. (I'll share a couple more spreads in future blog posts and on social media. Be on the lookout!)
Bold photographs draw readers' attention while the spider art adds a bit more information--and humor.

Scurry! The Truth About Spiders (affiliate) is the third book in The Truth About animal series. Whooo Knew? The Truth About Owls and Woof! The Truth About Dogs were previously published. Books about frogs and cats will be added to the series in 2022 with the publisher Reycraft Books.
Like all of the books in The Truth About series, Scurry has lots of extra information packed in the final pages of the book (called back matter) which includes a fun STEM activity.
I hope you'll consider getting Scurry! The Truth About Spiders for a young reader in your life. Tell a teacher about it. Request your local library carry it. Any of these will help this book (and me)! Scurry hits bookstore, library, and classroom shelves on September 30. Thanks so much for all of your support with my books!

  2. So excited for this book. It makes me think of two years I taught Kindergarten. One year, we did a unit on bugs and they LOVED it. They explored and enjoyed every minute of it. The next year, I literally had students standing on their seats screaming like the stereotypical woman who's seen a mouse at the very thought of studying bugs. Cracked me up!
