Long before Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote the Little House books, she wrote a column for the Missouri Ruralist. In 1916 she wrote

Laura Ingalls Wilder's wisdom was good for people then, and it's good for us now during these days of staying home (and often indoors) because of COVID-19. I know I feel better when I leave my computer screen for some fresh air and sunshine.
